“ Great outdoor seating, had to wait a while for the hostess to come to seat us. But the views of the water were great. Service has been slow both times I went, decent bar food. If not In a rush, head down there for a relaxing water dinner. ”
“ We have been coming here for years. The service is great and the food consistently good. I really like their Gator, today I had Coconut Shrimp. The first batch was cold, however our server happily replaced them. The shrimp were flavorful and had a nice sauce for dipping. I like a squeeze of lemon so ask if you like the same flavor profile, they only bring one wedge. They have some great drnks on the menu and you can sit inside, on the second level or outside by the dock. This is my favorite spot to watch the boats and birds and I always see dolphins, including today. ”
“ This place was recommended by a friend while guests are in town, so we tried it. This place is great! Food is fresh, with locally caught seafood and the view is outsranding. It was a Sunday early afternoon and love music was playing and the downstairs was packed! As if it was a Friday night! Food is awesome, waitstaff was awesome and the location was (you guessed it) awesome! Will definitely be back and will recommend to others in the future! ”
“ Gators is a huge bar with a long, narrow outdoor dock patio. It's supposedly the longest waterfront bar in the world. Gators is on Treasure Island, overlooking John's Pass, a body of water that connects Boca Ciega Bay to the Gulf. It's also across from a touristy area called Johns Pass Village (yes they have a Hooters here) in Madeira Beach. What's cool about Gators is the drinks, food and layout. Recommendations: - Bone-in medium Hot wings with bleu cheese - Blackened Grouper fish tacos - Tampa Bay Brewing Co. Reef Donkey IPA beer ”
“ Awesome day: how can you dislike a restaurant and bar that you can pull up to their dock in your boat? Plus... I had a great lunch! I had the fish tacos, as did my daughter. I did fried fish, she did the blackened. We swapped a taste, both were delicious. Tacos were topped with a mango salsa, excellent, and a chili aioli, just wonderful. I had the side of the black beans and rice. Very, very tasty. Live music was to be had, the guy was good, enjoyed it very much. If there was a downside, our waiter could have been a bit more attentive. He was nice and pleasant, just hard to find and flag down if we needed anything. Will be back, enjoyed it very much. “ Based on the reviews that I read on here prior to my visit, I was a bit concerned. Service was pretty good overall. Our waitress was nice, but perhaps a bit overwhelmed with the crowd. Had the blackened chicken sandwich that was tasty but I felt it needed some kind of sauce for it and all I had on the table was ketchup and mustard. Had a salad and it's was decent. The real winner here was the French fries... delicious! I came to see a band and will be back again. ”
